Trillian, the ultimate all-in-one instant messaging client is coming to BlackBerry users!
Trillian is a powerful instant messaging client that allows someone to utilize a single application to stay connected with their Facebook, Windows Live, Yahoo!, AIM, ICQ, Google Talk, Jabber/XMPP and MySpaceIM networks.
A mobile version of the app has been available for the iPhone, but now a closed beta version has finally made its way to the BlackBerry. The BlackBerry version of the app is expected to support BlackBerry Bold, Curve and Pearl smartphones.
Trillian for BlackBerry will support BIS, BES, WiFi and direct TCP allowing users to choose from a number of methods to stay connected. Users will be able to set their status, avatar and display name as well as notification options (sounds, vibration, LED control, email push, home screen icons) from within the application. The app is easy to use thanks to keyboard shortcuts and the ability to copy/paste, send photos, buzzes and emoticons during a conversation which utilizes a message window bubble view format.
Trillian also makes it easy to keep track of your contacts and accounts on your BlackBerry. Contact list sorting, grouping, MetaContacts, privacy and organization option are supported. Yet, the most powerful feature of the application is the ability to synch your Trillian for BlackBerry application with Trillian for Windows, Mac, iPhone and Web. Synchronized data includes your contact lists, avatars, accounts, etc.
Besides having a number of powerful features the developers of Trillian for BlackBerry also made sure the application looks good. Users will be able to choose between a black or white theme which has been designed to integrate into the BlackBerry environment.
